Flip 7 also received changes, some good, some questionable. The Flip 7 has the same $1,099 base price as before. It is physically bigger with a 6.9-inch main screen (up from 6.7″). The larger design helps improve the battery (now 4,300mAh).
The new cover screen is 4.1″ edge-to-edge, brighter, and 120Hz. The cover screen supports full widgets, selfies, and notifications. It is now more usable both closed and open.
However, it switched from Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to Exynos 2500. Exynos 2500 may be a preview of the S26 chip. It is decent but not as efficient as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite.
