Geekbench score: This iPad Pro hits a 1699 single-core score and a 7797 multi-core benchmark score. Last year iPad Pro (2020) had 1125 single-core scores and 4736 multi-core scores. So there is a big difference in benchmark score that makes this the fastest and powerful tablet.
Performance: Apple Ipad Pro’s performance is amazing due to the powerful M1 chip that comes with 8 core CPU, 8 Core GPU and16-Core Neural engine. The highest apps, video streaming, and games run fast and smoothly. The tablet has an extra storage up-gradation option so you can use unlimited apps.
Design: This iPad Pro tablet is a little bit thicker and heavier. iPad Pro 11‑inch is about 466g & 5.9 thickness, and iPad Pro 12.9-inch is about 682g & 6.4 thickness. I think this has a bigger and thicker battery that makes it a little bit heavy. It has two speakers at the bottom + thunderbolt USB-C 4 port and two on the top + three microphones. Most of the things are the same as the last year’s model – design, metal, sound quality, dual cameras, and lidar.
Display: Liquid Retina XDR display make a pretty big difference on the bigger iPad Pro but the small 11-inch iPad has the same retina screen as the last year. It is very brighter, immediately noticeable, and visible in the outdoor environment. It has a mini led display with 2500 local dimming zones made up of 10000 mini LEDs. It will impress you when you will be watch videos and play games.
Camera: This time you get a front-facing 12MP camera that following your face when you move which is a new feature. You also get two cameras on the backside which is pretty decent to capture pictures and videos in detail.
Battery: After surfing the internet, watch videos, playing games, and doing some work, so it has ended up the day for the same 10 hours as the last one.
Things Go Against:
- This time, the M1 chip didn’t increase the battery life in iPad Pro 2021.
- The 11-inch model does not have a new display.
