The Indian government has banned 59 Chinese apps including TikTok, Shareit, WeChat, UC Browser, Helo, and many more. Govt gives the reason to bank these 59 apps,” there are some privacy and security issues with them including risks of data going out of the country. This may be achieved through regulatory processes that emerge from objective, evidence-based measures.”
